About 1/2 of my childhood friends also left the religion. Canada can not allow the parents to make martyrs out of these 6 babies. Blood. Actually, the JW church actually ALLOWS a whole unit of blood, provided it is called a "blood fraction". Semantics. See www.ajwrb.org , which is a website set up by current and ex-JW elders...including the all important "hospital liasion" brother. Of the allowed parts, hemolgobin is one of the most important allowed fractions. It carries oxygen from the lungs to the cells. The new JW blood policy is confusing, and does not make any sense. Imagine if Adam & Eve were told not allowed to touch the apple from the tree, but were allowed to eat applesauce and peeled apple skin from the same apple. That's what the JW church is allowing. Unfortunately, the average follower has been consciously hypnotised using techniques developed by Frued but implemented by the Church (dull songs, followed by left/right eye movement, followed by flawed logical thinking, followed by question/answer), that they are incapable of seeing the problems with the blood policy.
