Melanie Brown, also known as Scary Spice, has finally chosen a name for her newborn daughter, born on April 3rd. The UK edition of OK Magazine features the adorable Angel Iris Murphy Brown on its cover, accompanied by the attention-grabbing caption, “Eddie Meet Your Daughter”.
According to a friend of the singer, Melanie took her time in deciding on the baby’s name, drawing inspiration from various sources.
In a brief statement released by her London representatives, Brown, who resides in Los Angeles, explained the significance of the name. “Angel”, she said, because her daughter was truly her little angel throughout the pregnancy. “Iris”, after her grandmother. “Murphy” represents the father, and “Brown” denotes her role as the mother.
Angel Iris is the second child for Melanie Brown, who already has an 8-year-old daughter named Phoenix Chi with her ex-husband, dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
