Congratulations to Lord of the Dance Michael Flately and Wife Niamh on the safe arrival of their first baby.

The “Riverdance” choreographer married dancer Niamh — who has performed in all of his main shows — in a low-key Catholic ceremony in Ireland last year.

Speaking from the Cork University Maternity Hospital, Flatley said, “We are overjoyed. Both mom and baby are doing well. I cannot wait to get Niamh and our baby son home to Castlehyde.

“We would like to thank (our doctor) Professor John Higgins and all the wonderful staff at the hospital.”

The baby’s name , weight and time of arrival has yet to be released.
