The Countess of Wessex To Have Her Second Baby Friday

The Daily Mail is reporting that Sophie, The Countess of Wessex, is scheduled to deliver her second baby on Friday.

Sophie, 42, had been due to give birth on Christmas Day but will now have her baby delivered by cesarean section.

She will recuperate at her local hospital, Frimley Park in Surrey, until Christmas Eve, then spend the following week with Prince Edward and their four-year-old daughter, Louise, at their Bagshot Park home.

Sophie credits Frimley Park with saving her life after her first child, Louise, arrived at 36 weeks. She was forced to deliver via emergency cesarean after “suffering dangerous blood loss.”

We look forward to seeing the first photos of the new baby!
