The Nikon D40x: My New BEST Friend!

This year for Christmas my husband surprised me with the new Nikon D40x SLR camera and I LOVE it!!

The old camera we had worked just fine, it just wasn’t fast enough. My son is very quick and my camera wasn’t.

Most times he had done what was cute and had already left the room before my camera was even on.

The Nikon D40x turns on in less that a second and takes an impressive 3 shots/per second. I was even able to catch him in mid air on Christmas day as my dad played a game with him after dinner.

Even though this camera looks like it would be bulky and heavy, it weighs just over a pound (without the lens) and handles quite nicely. I predict that it will become the camera of the soccer, baseball or hockey mom because of its ease of use. No professional courses needed – just the basic knowledge of how a camera works and some imagination.

Highly recommended!

Official site www.nikon.com Priced at about $699 with 18-55mm lens.
