Product Review: Wordsies Wear For Expectant Moms and Kids

After I had my son, I was amazed at the number of people who would just walk up to me at the mall and touch his hands or face.
Most people don’t realize that a newborn is more susceptible to getting colds or viruses than a toddler or pre-schooler.

Wordsies, a company created by a mom of 3, has a full line of shirts that will let the world know what’s acceptable to you without them having to “insult” anyone!

The company’s founder writes:

As a mother of three, I’ve endured complete strangers approach my babies and grab their hands or kiss their cheeks. I would think – Um, where did they just have their hands and lips? From those experiences, I’ve learned to say, “Please do not touch my baby – just look at him.” Now, parents can let the words on the shirts express their wishes.

Some of the unique phrases include:

  • Look But Don’t Touch
  • Wash Your Hands First
  • My Lips Are For My Mommy
  • Please Don’t Kiss My Lips
  • If You Can Read This Than Your Too Close
  • Don’t Cha Wish Your Baby Was Cute Like Me
  • Please Don’t Compare Me To Your Baby
  • I’m A Biracial Cutie

We have the longs sleeved version that reads ‘Got Clean Hands?’ and it is perfect. It is made of 100% cotton and manufactured in the United States. The neckline is cross over style to provide extra comfort for babies of all sizes.

I love that I can put the shirt on my son and know that it gets the point across. We are smart hand washers and think that everyone else should be too, especially if they want to hold our little man.

They baby on the left is pictured in a onesie ($20) They are offered in 3-6 month and 6-12 month sizes(both long and short sleeves) T-Shirts ($18) are offered in 12-18 month and 18-24 month sizes.

Wordsies offers original screen-printed designs, as well as carefully crafted embroidery designs. All embroidered designs have a protective barrier to protect your baby’s delicate skin.

If you are expecting a baby, this company also has a variety of Mommy slogan shirts as well.

*Feel Good Factor: A portion of Wordsies profits is donated to SIDS research as because the founder of the company has been personally affected by SIDS. www.sids.org*
