Bindi Irwin Launches Toy Line

Yesterday, Bindi Irwin, along with her little brother Bob and mom Terri, launched a new Environmentally aware toy line at FAO Schwartz.

The full product range of products that carry Bindi’s wildlife messages of nature preservation and conservation are highlighted by the fully articulating Bindi doll and various Bindi Australia Zoo playsets, plush, and bendables. Wild Republic, the nature themed toy company, incorporated Bindi’s personal favorite animals into the full range of products. The young conservationist has given each animal a name and each of the animal friends has a home at Australia Zoo.

The toy company also took extra measures to create some of the most authentic and original plush animals, including a Mountain Brushtail Possum, Common Wombat, and Dingo, and, of course, an Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Saltwater Crocodile and Koala.

I had the chance to speak with Terri yesterday and was very impressed by her passion for this cause. The family spends a great deal of time traveling the globe creating awareness about endangered species. In fact many of the toys in Bindi’s new line were chosen to highlight the growing number of animals being added to the endangered list each year.

Feel Good Factor: All of profits received from the sale of these toys are divided up between the many animal groups the family is involved with.

The new products are currently slated to hit store shelves nationwide this Fall. Please visit Wild Republic’s website for more information.
