I write in respect of pregnancy out side the uterus. My sister in Nigeria was delivered of a healthy baby girl in 2008 and the baby grew outside the uterus - it was not an etopic pregnancy either. The scan only picked an object. I have been trying to understand how a baby can grow outside the uterus.

Thank you.
