Inglesina’s Fast Hook-on Table Seat

Reviewed by Cari

I have found the answer to my restaurant dilemma! My eight-month-old daughter has passed the stage where I can bring the car seat into the restaurant. However, she is still too small for the highchairs that many restaurants have to offer. I usually end up stuffing her in with blankets to try to prevent her from slumping over or sliding through the openings and she ends up being too far below the table to be able to grab the food or toys in front of her.

My new solution? The Inglesina Fast Hook-On Table Seat. Ingenious, I tell you.

It’s completely portable so it’s perfect for taking to restaurants, friends’ houses and on extended holidays. The seat hooks on to just about any table and safely brings your little one (up to 30lbs) to the right height for accessing finger foods or toys. The chair padding is removable and comes in a variety of colours. So far, I haven’t had to wash mine because the padding and three-point harness straps are easy to simply wipe clean.

Attaching the seat is easy… just twist the handles clockwise to loosen and counter-clockwise to tighten to the table. Then, adjust the three-point harness to give your child a snug, secure fit. When you’re done, just unscrew the handles and fold in the sides. There is even an attached carry-bag for added convenience and portability.

This is a great product for anyone wanting to take a little one out for dinner (or anywhere else that may not provide the comforts of a baby-friendly home). And at a price point of about $40, it’s a great investment for the family on the go.
