Playmobil’s Recycling Truck Falls Short Of It’s Message

I love the idea of Playmobil’s Recycling Truck.

It has has separated compartments for different recyclable goods, actual recycle units and it functions much like a real recycling truck. The only problem…It’s made of regular old plastic.

The company could take a lesson from Eco-truck company Sprig, when creating a product that has a green message. Their trucks are made with a bio-composite material made from recycled wood and reclaimed plastic.
