12-year-old Schoolgirl Gives Birth

Staff at a Nambia hospital were left in shock after a 12-year-old girl gave birth to a baby girl earlier this week.
The father of the baby is said to be between 15 and 16 years old. The baby is currently being kept in the Hospital’s Premature Unit, while the mother is recuperating in the Maternity Ward.
Nurses at the hospital said the girl’s parents had visited the young mother and her baby. However, the boy’s parents have so far not shown up.
The two young parents have reportedly been referred to Social Services.
I’m speechless…12-year-olds are supposed to be hanging out with their friends, not having babies.

i am completely stunned and saddened by the number of children falling pregnant or sexually active even as young as 10 years old , what the hell is wrong in this world if these things can happen. how do these kids ever recover their childhood and innocence.

12 year olds should NOT be “hanging out with friends” either. They should be studying in school, doing homework. Morality is not being taught to the children, and this is the result.

It is very sad to see a 12 year old give birth, my thing is where were the parents when all of this was goingon? Friends she should not be hangging around any friends at 12 years old. She needs to be at home doing homework,going to chruch, cleaning her room, she should not be thinking about haveing sex at all.
