Stokke Announces Two New Strollers; Crusi and Scoot

It has been 9 years since Stokke has introduced a new stroller. When they debuted their Xplory in 2003 it was a cutting edge buggy with an incredibly unique design. Expanding on this, the Norwegian company has announced two new models; the Crusi and the Scoot.

Suitable from birth to 33lbs, the Crusi offers both facing you or outward facing strolling for your little one. The seat, which is the same as the one used on the Xplory, can be adjusted to 5 positions from resting to upright high chair position.

The Crusi rolls on low maintenance, puncture resistant, quick release back and front wheels for more compact folding.

A first for Stokke, the Crusi also offers a ‘sibling solution’ in the form of a second seat, which sits at the bottom of the stroller.

The Scoot will weigh in at just 22lbs and feature a 2 way rear and front facing seat.  Stokke has designed a unique recline system that uses magnetic straps that attach to the back of the seat.

The 3 panel canopy has a visor for extra protection from wind and light. It can also be folded back or removed by unzipping it from the hood. For extra ventilation through the stroller parents can zip open a mesh panel in the hood.

A must for every busy parent is always an easy fold and the Scoot excels at that feature.

The Crusi will reportedly be priced at $1430(£879) and the Scoot $900(£549).  Both strollers will be offered in 7 colors.
