Step Out in Style With The Mamas & Papas Signature Edition Chestnut Tweed Urbo²{VIDEO}

Completely unique from anything I’ve ever pushed, the Mamas & Papas Urbo² is a polished, sleek stroller that incorporates everything that parents need from birth+.  Initially, I couldn’t stop swooning over its beauty, but as soon as we got it out I was very impressed with how easy it was to use and how feature rich it was!

Out of the box parents will be happy to know that there is nothing that they need to do to get going.  Just simply pull the frame out of the box, pull off all of the packing material, pop on the seat and you are off.

From birth parents can use the stroller with the additional bassinet, or with the seat in a flat position.  The Urbo² is also car seat compatible with Cybex/Nuna/Maxi Cosi and Peg Perego Infant Seats when you purchase the additional adapters.

We were very lucky to get our hands on the Signature Edition Chestnut Tweed Urbo² Pushchair and it is not only sophisticated, but it the perfect option for families where dad wants to push something that is a little more masculine.  The fabric on the hood and the seat reminds me of the classic Sports coats that you often see in the Fall.  Mamas&Papas compliments this with a soft beige quilted lining that keeps your baby comfy.

The Chestnut Tweed Urbo² also comes with an embossed signature edition logo, a dark copper zip and leather like push handle and bumper bar.

Just like the other strollers in the collection the Chestnut Tweed Urbo² has a 3 position adjustable 5-point harness with a 2 stage buckle.  The seat can be positioned to face you or face the world, and can be reclined to 3 heights, including flat for a sleeping baby.  The footrest adjusts to 2 positions for babies and older children, and a mesh Insect Net is tucked away underneath for days at the park.

The 2 panel canopy on the Urbo² offers full coverage from the elements, plus a pop out visor for extra sun protection.  To check on your baby while you’re out there is a peek a boo window with magnet enclosure, and a mesh panel to allow air to flow through the stroller on hot days.

To protect your baby on a rainy or snowy day, Mamas & Papas includes a rain cover.

Underneath the stroller there is a good sized shopping basket that is surrounded by a rubberized mesh to give it extra strength.  I really like this shopping basket.

It is accessible from three sides, and will hold a large diaper bag plus additional snacks or jackets if you are headed out for the day.

To accommodate parents, and caregivers of all heights, the Urbo² has a telescopic handle that can be locked in place by two levers on either side of the frame.

Immediately identifiable by it’s silver frame and brackets, the Urbo² also has rubber tires with silver plastic hubs.

The push on this buggy is smooth and even – thanks to front and rear suspension.  Even fully loaded, the stroller glides easily and turns on a dime.

The brakes at the back are linked and are easily engaged and disengaged for parents wearing light shoes like ballet flats or flip flops.

As someone that has seen and pushed a lot of strollers, I can confidently say that this stroller is as close to perfect as it gets.  It is sturdy, pushes beautifully and has a modern, sophisticated design.

It also folds with the seat on for travel or easy storage.

I would consider the Urbo² a Urban stroller because it does very well at the mall, park, and for school runs. I wouldn’t, however, take it to the beach, over heavy gravel or through the snow.
