New mom Gisele Bundchen recently opened up to VOGUE Magazine’s contributing editor Joan Juliet Buck about her new role as mother, Benjamin’s intimate arrival and a new beauty line she is launching.

The supermodel, who admits she used to work 300 days a year, now lives in Boston with quarterback husband Tom Brady. It was in there that, with the help of a mid-wife, she welcomed her first child, Benjamin Rein, via waterbirth.

“I wanted to experience the transformation,” says Gisele. A midwife friend of hers came in from Brazil as did her mother; her husband was there too. Gisele meditated through the birth. “It was the most amazing experience of my life, feeling him come through my body. And once he was born, I never felt so empowered as looking at him and thinking, Oh, my God, we did it together!”

After his arrival, Gisele wanted to call him River ‘because I wanted something always flowing, immortal’ but Tom was not too fond of the idea saying, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ So the two settled on a shorter version of her father’s name is Reinoldo.

As expected, she regained her figure almost immediately after delivery with no more exercise than some yoga on a mat in the living room.

“I think it’s muscle memory,” she says

But she has always been in shape. As a young child growing up in southern Brazil, she spent most of time outdoors, “like a little monkey, jumping from tree to tree in bare feet.”

During her pregnancy she ‘did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.’

Gisele also reveals that she kept herself out of the public eye for months while pregnant.

“I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me. I stayed in Boston and I didn’t work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face.”

Her idea of family is a big family.

“I’m so lucky to have my little munchkin, and I have two because I also have John.” John, a.k.a. Jack, is her stepson, now two and a half, born to Bridget Moynahan after Moynahan’s breakup with Tom Brady.

Gisele says they doesn’t see John as much as they would like, but are in the process of building a place in Los Angeles to be closer to him.

The couple also has a house in Costa Rica(used for the photo shoot) that they get away to for a month each year.

Gisele’s next project is the launch of her new beauty line called Sejaa. The products, which can’t be called organic because of the short shelf life, are called “natural,” created with ingredients that are held to a high standard of purity, with coconut oil acting as the preservative.

Sejaa will not be sold in stores but on a Web site, to create a community—”So I can give my little tips, and it’s not me telling anyone to have an awakening.”

On parting, the new mom offers Ms. Buck her two secrets to life:

“The first is wake up in the morning and be grateful you are here, alive and healthy. And the second is: Give.”

New mom Sara Cox stopped to show off two-day-old Renee this morning outside the hospital just before heading home.

New mom Kourtney Kardashian and son Mason enjoyed some fresh air poolside this afternoon at the Fontainebleau Hotel.

The reality star, who is back in Miami for a few weeks to film the second season of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, was later joined by her boyfriend and the baby’s dad Scott Disick.

I have to laugh at Kourtney’s 6″ platform heels. She must have a nanny hidden somewhere because it’s not possible to a) push a stroller far in those shoes OR b) carry the baby safely with them on.

Gossip Girl Star Kelly Rutherford looked beautiful as she posed with daughter Helena at yesterday’s 19th Annual Bunny Hop event to benefit the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center at FAO Schwartz in NYC.

New parents Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were spotted strolling through LAX yesterday with their children Levi and Vida.

During a recent interview Matthew talked about life with 2, saying the family is delighted with their newest addition, adding Vida’s routine is “pretty simple” for the time being.

“They eat, they crap, they sleep and if they’re crying they need to do one of the three and they’re having trouble doing it. Real simple,” he said.

While the newest addition is easy to look after, Matthew says he and Camilla are unable to take their eyes off Levi because he is so inquisitive.

“Levi is into everything. You don’t go out and walk in the backyard and daydream for five seconds or he’s on top of the house,” he said.

“He’s either going to be an astronaut because he’s always like air traffic control from a bird to a plane, sun, moon, cloud, everything in the air. Or he’s Poseidon because he’s infatuated with water — ‘Agua, agua, agua’ — for hours.

“If he meets you he looks you down to up, he sizes you up … he looks at your shoes, checks you out, and then he’s happy to meet you.”

Congratulations to Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart on the safe arrival of their first baby – a girl!

Hollyscoop is reporting that Rebecca checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and gave birth this afternoon. Eric was right by her side the entire time and was seen in sexy scrubs.

After the birth Eric excitedly called close friends and family members to give them the good news.

“They’re both over the moon about it,” a source close to the couple told Hollyscoop.

Eric Dane recently revealed to People Magazine that he’s thrilled at the prospect of being father to a little girl.

“It just makes sense that I’m having a girl … I don’t know what it is, but I am excited it’s a girl,” he told the Magazine.

Despite splitting in 2008, Hugh Hefner and Kendra Wilkinson have remained close. So close that the former playmate was married at the Playboy Mansion and yesterday she visited with husband Hank Baskett and son Lil Hank.

I’m not sure how she’s going to make it work with Mason in tow, but I guess we’ll see.

A casually dressed Rebecca Gayheart was spotted getting her two dogs primped at the doggy spa yesterday.

The actresses husband, Eric Dane recently revealed to People Magazine that he’s thrilled at the prospect of being father to a little girl.

“It just makes sense that I’m having a girl … I don’t know what it is, but I am excited it’s a girl,” he told the Magazine.

When asked if they had a name picked out, Rebecca replied:

“We have a couple of names, but we’re going to wait and meet the baby before we name [her].”

At the young age of just 47, Jim Carrey has a new role – Grampa! The actor’s daughter Jane and her husband Alex Santana welcomed their first child, a boy, yesterday in Los Angeles.

Jackson Riley Santana, arrived at 12:28 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs., 11 oz, measuring 20 inches long.

Congratulations to Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi on the safe arrival of her first baby – a girl!

According to the new mom’s rep, baby Krishna arrived late Saturday in New York City.

Padma struggled for years with the medical condition endometriosis, which can lead to infertility. Endometriosis is the condition in which the uterus’ lining expands and grows into other areas of the body.

“This pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi’s privacy at this time,” her rep told Us Weekly in October.

The protective mama wore an all black outfit while baby Lou was covered up with a pink blanket.
