During a taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today Ellen Pompeo revealed the first public picture of her daughter Stella Luna!

The photo, which was taken of the baby being held by her father, Ellen’s husband, Chris Ivery, showed the pair in matching gingham shirts and jeans.

“Chris – he loves dressing her up like him,” the new mom explained of her husband. “He goes out and buys her clothes that look like his clothes.”

Ellen also revealed that she manages to work and care for her little one with some help.

“I have an amazing baby nurse,” Pompeo said. “I couldn’t do it without her.”

The episode will air on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” tomorrow.

If I were to guess I would say that she is about 22 or 23 weeks. That would make her due around the first or second week of September.

Shonda Rhimes, Grey’s creator recently told People that the writers were still trying to figure out how to work with Ellen’s pregnancy.

“We’re still talking about what we’re going to do and what that’s going to mean. Ellen is extraordinarily optimistic about what she’s going to be able to do.”
