On Saturday the March of Dimes hosted their Fourth Annual Celebration of Babies luncheon to recognize prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children and those who are committed to improving the health of babies. As part of the March of Dimes November Prematurity Awareness Month campaign, celebrities and special guests were urged to join the fight for preemies!

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, the Celebration of Babies luncheon honored Dr. Robert Katz M.D., obstetrician to the stars, with the Golden Rattle Award for his commitment to the March of Dimes mission. Halle Berry presented Dr. Katz(pictured left) with this award.

Some of the Celebrities in attendance were:

  • Garcelle Beauvais Nilon, husband Mike Nilon and Twins Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas
  • Kellie Martin, husband Keith Christian and daughter Maggie
  • Nicole Richie

New mom Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon launched her new jewelery line, ‘Petit Bijou by Garcelle‘ at Kitson Kids On the Plaza in LA yesterday.

The actress was joined by other celebrity parents and their kids including Melissa Joan Hart, Matthew Lillard and Lisa Rinna.

Garcelle’s twins, Jax and Jaid were also on hand to lend their mommy some extra support.

Yesterday celebrity moms attended “Celebration of Babies“at The Beverly Hilton in support of The March Of Dimes.

The Charity luncheon recognized “celebrities and prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children and who are role models for the March of Dimes Commitment to love and hope of babies.”

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon welcomed twin boys in October – and now she is showing them off in the March 31 issue of Jet magazine.”We’re so in love with them,” the former NYPD Blue cast member told People about sons Jax and Jaid. “The boys are just gorgeous.”

Dad is Garcelle’s husband since 2001, Mike Nilon.
