RECALL: Jardine Recalls Another 96,000 Cribs Sold by Babies’R'Us Due To Entrapment and Strangulation Hazards

The CPSC today announced that crib manufacturer Jardine is recalling another 96,000 cribs Sold at Babies’R'Us because the wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.

Jardine Expands Recall of Cribs Because They Pose Entrapment and Strangulation Hazards

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Jardine Enterprises today announced a voluntary recall of 56,540(320,000 units were previously recalled in June 2008) because the wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.
