Actress Halle Berry, her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and their daughter Nahla were spotted this afternoon arriving into LAX from New York.

The doting daddy carried a playful Nahla, while Halle pulled a Louis Vuitton luggage bag through the airport.

Actress Halle Berry and model Gabriel Aubry were seen taking baby Nahla through airport security yesterday. The sleepy tot leaned her head on her mother’s shoulder as they passed through the metal detectors.

It was recently reported that Nahla speaks French, just like her French Canadian dad Gabriel Aubry.

A cashier at the Malibu Kitchen on LA’s Pacific Coast Highway overheard Nahla, 18 months, tell her dad,

“Papa! Regard! Un chien!” [translation: "Look! A dog!"] while pointing at a dog barking.

Halle Berry and daughter Nahla were seen out shopping at a Century City mall today. The pair also enjoyed some lunch with friends at Barefoot restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Nahla looks pretty comfy in her Baby Jogger City Mini stroller.

Halle Berry takes her little ballerina, Nahla Ariela Aubry, to a birthday party in LA yesterday.

The little cutie wears an adorable tutu and a pair of Robeez Mini Shoez Mini Circles Mary Janes.

While celebrating the 40th anniversary of Calvin Klein new daddy Gabriel Aubry told Us Magazine that fatherhood was “Very good, very good. It’s great!”

Nursery #1 is a Cape Cod theme. Colour scheme is calm and gender neutral because the couple didn’t know the sex of the baby. The baby will sleep in a ‘panel crib’, which retails for $1395. When she first comes home she will be sleeping next to mom and dad in a pink Stratford co-sleeper that is equipped with an organic Natural Mat mattress in pink ($190)

Nursery #2 is a Malibu Modern theme. The couple chose a Litto Kids Manhattan crib, which is also has an organic Natural Mat mattress, organic stuffed animals, and a Little giraffe blanket.

Halle will carry all of Nahla’s diapers and bottles in a Gogo Jet Set Bag ($425), where Gabriel chose a Petunia Pickle Bottom’s new daddy line – Scout Journey Pack ($138). The baby will be chauffeured around in the Orbit travel system (pictured above)($900).

Because many of the items that the couple has chosen for their new addition are organic, it would be interesting to see if they are using Orbit’s Green Organic stroller.

Pamela Redmond Satran, the co-author of The Baby Name Bible and Cool Names for Babies explains origin of the name and the Disney connection:

“Nahla is one of those names that is occasionally found among people of African or Arabic descent, but isn’t commonly used in any particular culture.”

“Nala was the name of Simba’s lioness mate in Disney’s The Lion King, so it kind of has an African flavor as opposed to a genuine African pedigree, and Ariela’s “Disney antecedent,” she says, is Ariel in The Little Mermaid.”

Nahla Ariela Aubry arrived at 10:17am on Sunday morning weighing 7lb 4 oz’s.

Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Halle reportedly arrived at the hospital Saturday morning feeling like she was in labor. She was checked and sent home. Late Saturday night the contractions came back and that it when she was admitted.

The new mom was so overcome with emotion when the baby arrived that she didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure her.
