1. Tatamia Multipurpose Baby Seat – This chair was not only designed to be a comfy feeding space, but it eliminates the need for parents to buy extra gear. It does triple duty as a highchair, recliner and baby swing.

With the click of a switch the baby seat slides down out of highchair mode and doubles as a swing. It is not an automatic swing, but just a soft moving pendulum.

When not being used, the spring loaded base folds up easily so that the chair can be stored easily in a closet.

2. Si Lightweight stroller – Peg’s new Si stroller is not only nice looking, but it it only weighs 12lbs.

This is a great compact stroller that balances a lightweight, compact aluminum frame with durability, convenience and comfort. It has everything big strollers offer; peek-a-boo canopy, cushioned five-point harness, adjustable back and leg supports, stylish design, ergo-fit handles, storage basket, parent cup holder, and easy-roll 6” wheels; yet it folds up to the size of a small mall stroller. My favourite part? The handles… I couldn’t believe how comfortable they are! My daughter has been loving her new ride, too.

Style

The Endangered Species Line offers five new, distinctly stylish options for the Solo Sport with an environmental theme; the green Lemur Leaf Frog, the orange Monarch Butterfly, the grey Rhinoceros, the white Snow Leopard, and the orange Tiger. All five are beautifully designed and tastefully represent each of the featured species. Assembly and Use

Assembly is a snap. Pop on the wheels, unfold the stroller, fasten the canopy and you’re all set! Folding and unfolding simply requires latching or unlatching two safety levers with your foot and takes just seconds to do. The cushioned seat and straps can be removed and re-attached easily if you need to wash them, and the frame, canopy and basket can simply be washed using a sponge or cloth.

Environment

As if all the previously mentioned features weren’t enough, Baby Planet goes above and beyond in the name of Mother Earth. They not only provide awareness of five species whose existence or habitat is threatened, but also make an annual donation to the Wildlife Conservation Society and have committed the proceeds from the sale of the Endangered Species Line to WCS. After visiting their website, I was also very impressed by their recycling program. Baby Planet offers to take your retired strollers and donate them to families in need, or if your stroller is out of commission, they will recycle it for you to minimize the impact of discarded consumer products on our landfills.

I can’t say enough about Baby Planet’s Endangered Species Line. I love our Tiger stroller for its stylish design, compact convenience, luxury features and environmental conscience. Another feature that makes it tops on my list? The price… you get everything that other, more expensive strollers have to offer for less than $200… and a portion of the price goes to the Wildlife Conservation Society. What’s not to love? The new Slider stroller features a design that allows the entire upper part (bassinet or the seat) to be detached from the the frame folds up extremely small.

The easy release of the bassinet may also be handy for parents who have had a child fall asleep during a walk.

The large swivel wheels at the front provide maximum manoeuvrability in the city. When you reverse the push bar, the fixed rear wheels become the front wheels. This is handy when having to negotiate bumpy wood paths or cobblestone streets. The Slider has been fitted with modern single-spoke wheels, lightweight tires and brake pedals on either side.

Modern parents will appreciate the fresh colours that company uses on the canopy, boot and inside of the stroller. I personally love the ‘raspberry’ (they call it red) and the silver.

The Slider consists of 2 parts: the upper part, configured as a bassinet (sold separately), baby/toddler seat or travel system (using an adaptor for your Graco or Maxi Cosi car seat) and the base. The base can then be folded into a super compact frame by pressing the red button. The wheels can be removed with a single click to make the frame even more compact.

The baby seat rises along a central gas strut giving it a barber shop feel to it. The whole thing reminds me of Boon’s flair highchair with a sunshade and robust set of wheel. I like it!!
