Salma Hayek enjoyed a girls day out with daughter Valentina, mom Diana, and stepdaughter, Mathide Pinault.

Mathide, who flew into town Monday night with father François-Henri Pinault and brother Francois, seemed very comfortable with her Step mother Salma and half sister Valentina holding hands and chatting with them as they toured the outside mall.

Valentina joins her mom on the set of her new movie ‘Grown Up’ in South Berkshire Massachusetts.The toddler appears to be having a blast as she runs around the set playing with the other actors and mom’s bangles.

Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Kevin James and Chris Rock join Salma in the film that centers around high school friends who are reunited as adults.

Valentina joins her parents in Italy for their wedding weekend extravaganza.

The trio was seen this morning leaving the Cipriani hotel in Venice, Italy.

Francois-Henri and Salma will exchange vows today at the Palazzo Grassi, a historic white-marble palace owned by the Pinault family and the site where Hayek and Pinault first met in 2006.

The toddler also attended The masked ball last night. All the guests wore black Venetian masks.

Salma Hayek pushes her daughter Valentina in a Juicy Couture Maclaren stroller through JFK International airport in New York.

The fashionable mom recently volunteered to nurse the child on a recent trip to Sierra Leone, when the baby’s mother stopped producing milk.

Salma, 42, said:

“The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother didn’t have milk. He was very hungry. I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk that I was pumping, so I breast-fed the baby. You should have seen his eyes. When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.”

The actress, who claims older mothers have more energy, has been slowly returning to work since having one-year-old Valentina.

She said:

“There was a lot of crying on both sides because I’m not used to separating from her. I guess I have to start separating a little bit. I’m still with her all the time. She’s such a happy baby.”

This drives me crazy!! I know that we don’t see her actually smoking next to the baby – but it appears that she is going to.

New Mom Salma Hayek was seen out enjoying some lunch with cutie Valentina, 10 months in Malibu yesterday.

The new mom, who was also seen showing off Paloma, is currently filming “Cirque du Freak”.

“Then I remembered how hard it is to be a woman,” she says. “And I chickened out, and I said, ‘Oh, my God, I hope I get a boy.’ Because I just think they have it easier.”

A doctor had told her she was having a boy, but then she learned she was actually going to have a girl. Salma says she then realized that she’d wanted a girl all along.

“I remember when they told me it was a boy I was a little disappointed. So I think I really wanted a girl or I knew it was a girl. And then when she was born, I was so happy,” Salma says. “Having a girl is the best.”

The name “Valentina” means “courageous one” in Spanish. Not wanting it to sound to ‘revolutionary’, Salma decided to compensate with a second name that’s a little softer. “So I named her ‘Paloma,’ which means ‘dove’ in Spanish. She’s a ‘courageous dove.’”

Is Valentina spoiled?

“She is so spoiled,” Salma says. “And I will not apologize for it.”

Because she developed gestational diabetes while she was pregnant, her pregnancy wasn’t enjoyable.

Salma also found that breast feeding didn’t help her loose the baby weight.

“The pregnancy was really difficult for me. I thought, ‘As soon as this baby’s out, I’m just going to lose all the weight superfast because I’m going to breast-feed, and everybody tells you if you breast-feed, [the weight] is going to come off,’” she says. “It’s a lie; It’s not true.”

Her main concern was losing the weight properly.

“There are shortcuts, but it’s not good for the baby,” she says. “So I’m taking my time. I’ve lost a lot—most of the weight—and I’m very proud of it because it’s been really hard work studying what can I eat that’s healthy. But I’m still losing, even if it’s slow. … And the rest is going to go when it’s time to go.”

I love her honesty. It is important for real moms to know that the weight does not come off in two weeks like some celebrities seem to think.
