Argentine Mom Expecting Septuplets

Sextuplets (6 babies) seem to the norm lately, with two sets on the way and 2 sets born on the same day just a few months ago.

Aside from the McCaughey septuplets, born in 1997, you never hear about moms that are pregnant with 7 babies.

It has been reported that a young Argentine mom is expecting septuplets any day now.

Yolanda, 22, who has already named her babies Zahara, Acsa, Aixa, Sjael, Zalma, Nahir and Zael, said “my mother had twins and my husband’s great grandmother had triplets.”

Doctors estimate that the smallest baby weighs 14.11 ounces, two are one and a half pounds and the largest weighs 4.63 pounds.

Yolanda confesses she took medication and vitamins plus 85 shots because the babies prevented her from gaining weight for a while, but the unemployed father-to-be, 27, confessed surprise at Yolanda’s strength.

Medical sources say this will be the first birth of septuplets in Argentina conceived naturally.

It is weird that the babies weights vary so much. There must be identical twins in there that are have nutritional sharing issues…
