A 4-year-old boy was accidentally tackled by a college football player during a game, resulting in 30 stitches in his head. However, he is recovering well according to his father.

FOOTBALL FIELD

The incident occurred during a youth football festival at Colorado State. The boy and his father were standing near the end zone when the wide receiver, George Hill, collided with the boy while attempting to catch a touchdown pass.

Caden’s father expressed concern for his son’s wellbeing, fearing potential long-term damage. Fortunately, the team’s trainer and doctor immediately came to their aid. Caden was conscious and his neurological exams came back normal, although he had a deep cut on his head and was bleeding.

After receiving stitches from a plastic surgeon, Caden was able to go home. The following day, he received a call from the Colorado coach and a signed football from the team.

While recounting the incident, Caden mentioned that he found it scary and painful. Thankfully, his injuries were not more severe.

This incident serves as a reminder of the risks involved in sports and showcases the resilience of young children.
