While in Las Vegas at the ABC Kids Show in Las Vegas this past week I had the chance to preview what will be new from Baby Jogger for 2015. Parents will be excited to know that the company has been very busy updating their existing collection and adding new gear to the line. Here is a rundown of what you can expect to see in stores in the new year!
Arriving at retailers this Spring the City Mini Zip is a great lightweight stroller that has a double fold, a flat recline for newborns, is car seat compatible(adapter sold separately) and weighs just 16lbs!
Both the canopy, which is a UV 50, and the seat have very soft fabrics and when folded it fits perfectly in a back pack for easy transport. The Zip will retail for $249 and will be offered in red and black in large retailers – teal in specialty stores.

Hot on the heels of their new Vue reversible umbrella stroller, Baby Jogger has debuted a double version of the stroller that takes two car seats! Awesome right? We think so!
Also, both seats feature independent canopies and recline so one can sleep and one can look out. As with the Vue, the seats can be reversed to face out or face you without any additional pieces or removing any parts.
Like a traditional double umbrella the Vue double has two small baskets under the seat and 12 wheels. It also has an umbrella fold.
Baby Jogger’s new deluxe pram, which is in stores now, comes in 4 colors and fits the City Select, City Mini, City Mini GT, City Elite and Summit x3. It will accommodate a baby to 25lbs, has gorgeous luxurious interior fabrics, a vented UV 50 canopy, bottom air vent to keep the mattress cool and a pop out sun canopy. It is deeper, has a deeper mattress and is designed with a carry handle.
When used on the City Select parents will lose 2nd seat compatibility because it’s so large.
The Vuelite is the 14 lb version of the Vue. It is car seat compatible, has a reversible seat and an aluminum frame. It will come in 4 vibrant colours; aqua, citrus, shadow and cherry. Look for it in store in Feb/march 2015.
Over the last year we have seen a lot of manufacturers really working to help specialty stores win out for sales over the big box stores. One of the ways they do that is by creating a unique product that is only available in specialty stores. This year the City Select will come in a black frame with sand fabric for specialty stores only.
This year Baby Jogger has upgrade their parent console with neoprene, a magnetic closure, insulated cup holder and it was designed to fit all of the strollers in their collection. If you are pushing a double stroller you will need a handle extender but that will be mailed at no additional charge.
