Baby Gear

ABC Kids Expo ~ Inglesina’s 2014 Collection

Well known for their sophisticated, high quality baby gear, Inglesina has a lot in store for parents this year! It has been a couple of years since we have seen any new products in North America so I was excited to see some new gear when I stopped by their booth at ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas this past week.

New for 2014 Inglesina will launch the Quad stroller – an all-terrain buggy that ‘combines an extremely modern and technical look with the sturdiness and the ability to travel on even the roughest terrain.’

Designed with 4 wheel suspension, the Quad also comes with a reversible seat that is covered in a jute and jersey melange fabric. The perfect combination, the jute is rugged enough to handle all weather conditions, while the jersey melange provides comfort and style for little ones.  It is SO soft!

The Quad is infant car seat compatible and can also be used with the optional bassinet.

When it hits the market the Quad will retail for $599, Bassinet $249.  The stroller weighs 26lbs, the bassinet 12lbs and the seat will accommodate a child up to 55lbs.

In 2014 the Inglesina Avio will no longer be available in North America, but it will be replaced by the Trilogy($499). Announced overseas last year, the Trilogy has many of the Avio’s features with the added ability to reverse the seat.

Available with a white or grey frame,  this lightweight 3 in 1 travel system can transport your precious cargo in a bassinet, infant car seat or with the stroller seat.

The trilogy has a four-position recline, 2-way adjustable footrest, ball bearing wheels, and the ‘Piroet system’, a lever on the frame that lets the parent(or caregiver) lock the front wheels from the front of the fame without having to bend down!

It weighs just 21 lbs and has Inglesina’s patented umbrella folding system, which can easily be done with just one hand.

I REALLY like this stroller.  The push is beautiful and it has a solid design.  The North American version will have the linked handlebars (shown), as opposed to the individual ones offered overseas.

Another new product that will join Ingesina’s collection next year is the Gusto Highchair.

Practical and functional, this new addition was designed to make life easier at meal times.  It has an effortless open and close, a reclining seat, an adjustable footrest, and a 5-position height adjustment.

My favorite feature, however, is the compact fold.

The print is pretty cute as well!

When the Gusto is introduced it will retail for $149

  • i love the avio and been wanting to get one for my newborn (soon!) ever since i laid eyes on it! but after seeing the trilogy (the americanised version with linked handlebar) im hooked with this one!! too bad we don’t have a wide selection of Inglesina products in Malaysia, so the only way for me to get my hands on this beauty is through online purchases from a third party 🙁 but do you know when exactly in 2014 would the Trilogy be made available in the Inglesina US’ web? thanks!
