Celebrities Attend Pamper Dry Max Launch

Yesterday celebrities and their kids came out to celebrate the launch Pampers new Dry Max technology diapers at the Helen Mills Theater in NYC. According to the company this new product line is reportedly 20 percent thinner and are two times drier than their counterpart – Huggies Little Snugglers/Movers.

To help demonstrate the thinner, sleeker design of new Swaddlers and Cruisers with Dry Max, Pampers has teamed up with notable mom designer, Liz Lange, to create a limited edition diaper clutch specially designed for these new diapers. The partnership marks the evolution of the diaper bag to the diaper clutch as mom can carry a day’s worth of Pampers with Dry Max diapers while feeling confident that the high performance diaper is keeping her baby drier. The clutch features interchangeable stroller, shoulder and wristlet straps for convenient carrying on the go, as well other features specially designed to hold mom and baby’s every day essentials.

Some celebrities in attendance were:

  • Actor Eric Mabius with sons Rylan Jaxson, 1 and Maxfield Eliot, 3 (ABOVE)
  • Actress Ana Ortiz holding Eric Mabius’ son Rylan
  • Actress Kelly Rutherford and daughter Helena Giersch
  • Actress Marcia Gay Harden and with one of her twin Jullita
  • Padma Lakshmi

  • HORRIBLE. I didn’t realize there was all this pre-launch hype about “dry max” and was surprised to see all the “old” Pampers Swaddlers & Cruisers replaced with the “dry max”. What’s worse is that they were apparently packaging the Dry Max in the old Cruiser packaging. My twins, who have never been prone to diaper rash , had horrible diaper rash for almost 2 weeks. I realize now why they had such a horrible rash after reading all the reviews. I had noticed that the texture of the diapers seemed different but didn’t think it was a totally “new” diaper.

I bought the Dry Max from BRU earlier this week & they have leaked All. Day. Long. I am constantly changing my daughter. They leak through, over the top – front & back. I may as well be buying cheapo paper diapers for all the protection these are giving my daughter. Plus, she constantly looks like she’s carrying a pound of something in her diaper. I’ve never had this problem with her before and it’s not as if we’ve suddenly changed our eating, drinking or changing patterns around here. I can only attribute this to the new Dry Max.

I wonder what all the celebrity’s nannies think of these new diapers.

  • This is the worst invention by Pamper’s! I loved the cruisers and when I put the dry max on him he was soaked to the point I had to see if he even had his diaper on anymore. I even contacted Pamper’s with hopes of finding the original cruisers and all the said to me is I would get use to them in time. Silly Pamper’s I am not going to continue to use your product.

  • I used these diapers on my daughter who is not rash prone and in 1.5 hours she had a rash/burn that was oozing and bloody, these occured all over her bottom and on the insides of both her thiighs right where the diaper touches. The company has been no help but to say they are well tested and they stand behind them. I contacted my local news and in hours was interviewed and a story ran about our problems with these diapers. PLEASE don’t use them…
