Parents Taken Into Custody After Newborn Found With Pacifier Taped to Mouth

A newborn in Michigan has been removed from his parent’s care after police found the 4-week-old unsecured in a car’s back seat with a pacifier taped in the baby’s mouth with adhesive tape.

According to WHMI-FM, the infant was taken into protective custody Wednesday after state police at a traffic stop noticed the infant without a safety seat.

The baby’s 19-year-old father and 18-year-old-mother were taken into custody and released pending possible charges.

State Police said Thursday afternoon they weren’t releasing the parents’ names or the gender of the child.

There are no words to describe how I feel about this crappy couple. I hope someone more appreciative gets custody of this baby.
