Disney Junior’s ‘Jake and The Neverland Pirates’ Returns For Season 2!

Over the last couple years my boys have been in different places television wise. This made it hard for the two of them to have down time together. In the last couple months, however, they have both landed in the same spot, Disney Junior. Lovers of anything mouse related, my guys are very fond of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Imagination Movers, Special Agent OSO and Jake and The Neverland Pirates.

Now back for it’s second season, we are excited to follow Jake and the crew along on their new adventures. I mean how cool is their ship? In a new episode Peter Pan returns to visit his pirate team after he loses his shadow. To help a friend in need the team bands together and sets out to track down the missing outline. After some adventures with Captain Hook, a trek through the cave of shadows and some more out smarting, Peter and his crew finally get the treasure chest opened and get the missing shadow back!

After watching the episode I let my oldest explore the DisneyJunior.ca site for games and activities. This was also good for my youngest because they have printable coloring pages and DIY crafts.

As you navigate through the site and onto the dedicated pages for each show you will find each one has different activities, games and printables, which are perfect for rainy days!

I was particularly impressed the Jake and The Neverland Pirates printable birthday party planning tips. This 11 page pdf includes snack ideas, instructions for a pirate hat cake, game suggestions and printable invites.

Pre-schoolers who are not pirate fans may want to take part in Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Big Week beginning the week of March 26th at 6pm ET including a new episode, Where the Berry Breezes Blow on March 30th!  On the site there are also printables for Strawberry Shortcake as well as some games and videos.
