Mom Delivers Baby At Toronto’s Pearson Airport!

Often we find that when a baby wants to make an entrance they wait until they are 30,000ft above the world.  But, over the weekend, one baby chose the departures lounge at Lester B. Pearson in Toronto, Ontario to make their grand entrance!

CP24 reports that a mom-to-be, who was traveling to Edmonton, went into labour in the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge when her water broke in the washroom around 6:30 p.m on Sunday night.

A doctor, who was in the lounge, and booked on the same flight as her, came to her aid and assisted with the baby’s delivery.

While both mom and baby are reportedly doing well, they were both taken to Etobicoke General Hospital to be checked over.
