Mom of Two, Peaches Geldof Passes Away At Just 25

We are very sad to report that mom of two, socialite Peaches Geldof was found dead at her Kent home on Monday afternoon.

The daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates leaves behind her husband Thomas Cohen and her two young children; Astala Geldof–Cohen and Phaedra Geldof-Cohen.

Shortly after the news of her passing was made public Mr. Geldof issued the following statement

Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

Writing “was” destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.

Few details are available about her passing but TMZ reports that investigators are treating it as “unexplained and sudden.”

In a statement, Kent Police said,

“Police were called at 13:35 on 7 April, 2014 to an address near Wrotham following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.

“A woman aged 25 was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

“Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death.”

Sadly she was only 11 when her own mother died of an accidental drug overdose. Her last tweet was coincidentally a photo of the pair when she was little.

But what is most heartbreaking is looking through her Instagram feed(which has now been removed) and seeing the love she had for her children.  There are more than 4,000 pictures and videos of her babies playing and growing up.  Now, they will never get to have her growing up.
