Remote control toys have been a popular item for years because they give kids a lot of control over their toys. In our house, however, my kids have had some difficulty manipulating their vehicles.
Hot for the holidays, Disney’s Magic Dance Pumpkin($59.99) is an adorable pooch that is pre-programmed to perform a couple of fancy tricks for little ones! Different from a traditional RC toy, this puppy is easy to maneuver, fun to play with – and full of personality!
When we opened the box, the first thing I loved about Pumpkin was that her remote was shaped like a wand. The perfect shape for little ones to control with just one hand, it adds to the royalty of this adorable pup.
Cinderella’s puppy can dance, curtsy, or wag her tail on command. She is also pre-programmed with quite a few phrases that she will recite when you either press the gem on her collar or wave the wand. She comes dressed in a tiara and a sparkly skirt, and she has fluffy paws, ears, and a tail.
To really bring her alive kids can choose to control her manually with the directional buttons on top of the wand or select one of the pre-programmed dances.
In the first two modes Pumpkin only moves a short distance, but in dance mode(the bottom button) she really puts on a show. Just be sure that she has a lot of room because she covers a large area and moves back and forth diagonally. The dance also comes with ballroom music, which my kids loved.
