Rumours were rampant this week that Sheryl Crow was adopting a baby, but I don’t normally post info unless it has been confirmed.

Sheryl, herself, officially announced the news on her site today stating that:

I am so excited to share with you guys that I’ve adopted a little boy ..he was born 2 weeks ago.

His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time.

Just wanted you to be the first to know.

No other details have been offered except that the baby was born in the U.S and that Sheryl will taking time off to be a mom.
