New American Heartland Theme Park and Resort Development Announced For Northeast Oklahoma

It has been announced that American Heartland Theme Park and Resort, a remarkable $2 billion entertainment destination, is coming to northeast Oklahoma. Joining forces with state and local officials, American Heartland is a one-of-a-kind development just west of Grand Lake on iconic Route 66.

This massive project will be built in stages, beginning with the opening of a spacious RV park with cabins in spring 2025, followed by the grand opening of a world-class theme park and resort in 2026. The American Heartland Theme Park and Resort aims to offer visitors an unforgettable experience that rivals the top resort destinations in the world.

Spanning over 1,000 acres, the development will include a 125-acre theme park, comparable in size to the renowned Magic Kingdom® Theme Park and Disneyland® Park. The park will feature an Americana-themed environment, complete with thrilling rides, captivating shows, family-oriented attractions, waterways, and exceptional food and beverage options.
