Because my son has needed a good amount of therapy to meet his milestone, we have collected a lot of developmental toys. We have found sorting toys to be both helpful to teach colors, shapes and numbers.

Some of the other skills these toys teach are

  • fine motor skills
  • co-ordination
  • problem solving
  • matching
  • animal recognition
  • pretend play

*Additional information for each toy is available by clicking on the ‘notes’ link under the picture*
