Medela has announced the launch of the Pump In Style with Hands-free Collection Cups. This new design is in direct response to customer demand, as moms look for more freedom while they pump.

Annette Brüls, CEO of Medela, said, “After introducing our Hands-free Collection Cups with Freestyle earlier this year, moms in the USA made it clear that they wanted to use them with their Pump In Style. We are thrilled to continue supporting breastfeeding families by giving them the freedom to choose when and how they pump with our best-selling pump.”

For almost three decades, the Pump In Style has been the go-to choice for families who want to provide breast milk to their babies on the go. As the needs of breastfeeding families have evolved, so has the Pump In Style. It offers portability, discretion, and Medela’s patented Two-Phase Expression® technology, which mimics a baby’s natural sucking rhythm.

Jeff Castillo, executive vice president of the Americas at Medela, explained, “Medela is committed to supporting breastfeeding families in the USA. We not only provide quality products, but we also advocate for better support in the workplace. While we continue to strive for improved breastfeeding support, the Pump In Style remains the preferred choice for millions of families. We are proud to offer a product that is designed, assembled, and supported in the USA.”

With Medela’s unique technology, the Hands-free Collection Cups can pump up to 11.8% more breast milk than traditional pump shields. They are lightweight, easy to clean, and hold up to five ounces of milk per cup. The Cups have received international design awards and recognition from parenting product awards.

In addition, the Pump In Style motor has also been updated to include a stronger vacuum based on customer feedback. The cycle rates have been optimized for added comfort, allowing the breast to rest and recover between pumping sessions. This ensures that pumping moms can continue to provide breast milk for as long as they choose.

With the Pump In Style now available with the Hands-free Collection Cups, new moms can enjoy the convenience and performance, along with the freedom to pump when and how they want.
