Pregnant Sienna Miller Covers Vogue Winter 2024

Sienna Miller‘s candid interview with Vogue Magazine sheds light on her career and the joy of becoming a mother once again. At 41 years old, Miller is already a mother to Marlowe, whom she co-parents with actor Tom Sturridge. Now, she is expecting another baby girl with her boyfriend, actor Oli Green, whom she has been in a relationship with since 2021.

In the interview, Miller opens up about the expectations she had during her first pregnancy with Marlowe. She admits that she focused so much on preparing for the birth that she didn’t consider what life would be like after bringing the baby home. This time around, she feels more prepared and aware.

Previously, Miller had envisioned a “natural” birth, with her sister Savannah, who had previously delivered at home, as her doula. However, things didn’t go as planned and she ended up being induced at the hospital, enduring 27 hours of labor before ultimately having an emergency C-section. Miller reflects on this experience, realizing that she put too much pressure on herself to do things “right.” Now, she is more open-minded and less hard on herself when it comes to childbirth. She still hopes for a natural birth and has switched to a doctor who aligns with that goal.

At 41 years old, Miller embraces her confidence and follows her instincts, whether it’s baring her pregnant stomach on the red carpet or dating whomever she pleases.

She believes that by doing so, she is making life a little easier for all women. However, she admits that she still has insecurities and hopes to reach a point where she doesn’t feel the need to joke about her age and having a baby. She is constantly working on overcoming her own prejudices against herself.

Miller has longed for more children for a while, explaining that she wanted Marlowe to have a little partner in crime. She wanted to compensate for anything her daughter might be lacking. As her second pregnancy progresses, Miller feels more conscious and in tune with the experience compared to her first time.

Overall, Miller expresses that this pregnancy has been much easier for her. She felt great until recently and is excited to give Marlowe a sister, despite the initial reservations her daughter had.
