Make Believe Ideas is recalling 272,900 Rainbow Road Series Board Books due to a choking hazard. The plastic binding rings on these children’s books can detach, posing a danger to young children.
These board books were sold individually and in a book box with four books. They were available at popular retailers like Target, Barnes & Noble, and Sam’s Club, as well as online platforms such as Amazon. The books were also sold at school book fairs.
Make Believe Ideas has received reports of the plastic rings detaching in the United States and Australia, but thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
This recall involves seven board books under the Rainbow Road Series Board Books. The books are children’s board books bound together with plastic rings. The books were sold individually as well as in a book box with four books. The recall includes the following board books and ISBN numbers. The ISBN number is printed on the book’s right-hand corner on the back above the bar code.
