While in NYC a couple of weeks ago we stayed at the Hilton Doubletree Times Square South at 8th and 36th.
A couple of blocks from herald square, it’s central to lots of dining and shopping options.
While our room was compact, it worked for my son and me while we attended an event and took in the sights. We booked the King room, but the hotel has a variety of room configurations for families of different sizes.
Our room had everything we needed including a comfortable bed, ironing board and iron, storage, flat screen TV and spacious bathroom.
I loved that DoubleTree offers warm cookies and bottled water at check-in. It was a nice touch after a long travel day. Marlon checked us in and he was fantastic.
I paid a little more for an Empire State View and it was definitely worth it.
If you visit don’t forget to head to the top-floor bar where you can enjoy beautiful views of the city!
