New Disney Treasure Cruise Ship Unlocks the Magic of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel

Today Disney Cruise Line unveiled its newest ship, the Disney Treasure. Launching in 2024 it will transport guests to enchanting worlds inspired by beloved Disney Parks attractions, blending captivating storytelling with immersive experiences on the high seas.

Drawing upon the courage and warmth of cherished Disney characters, the Disney Treasure will be a testament to the spirit of adventure, paying homage to Walt Disney’s love for travel and exploration. Step on board and discover fan-favorite spaces from the Disney Wish, infused with an adventurous theme and inspired by iconic Disney stories like “Aladdin,” “Coco,” and “Zootopia.”

Get ready for an extraordinary dining experience as the Disney Treasure brings back two beloved restaurant concepts from the Disney Wish, alongside a brand-new family entertainment restaurant.

One of the highlights is Plaza de Coco, the world’s first theatrical dining experience themed to the hit film “Coco.” Guests will be immersed in the vibrant world of Miguel and his familia with colorful music-filled nights and a modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine.

Marvel fans will be thrilled with the Worlds of Marvel dining experience. This immersive venue will feature beloved Avengers characters and even a chance to interact with Spider-Man. With a menu inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, guests can indulge in delicious food while enjoying spectacular shows.

For those looking for a touch of nostalgia, 1923 is the place to be. Named after the year Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded, this restaurant celebrates Disney’s animation legacy. Guests will be surrounded by stunning artwork from classic and modern films, all while enjoying a sophisticated menu inspired by California’s cultural flavors.

Each night, guests can choose from one of three imaginative restaurants, accompanied by a dedicated service team that stays with them throughout the voyage.

But that’s not all – the Disney Treasure will feature a plethora of dining options to suit every taste, including quick bites, casual dining, 24-hour room service, specialty treats, gourmet cafes, upscale dining for adults, and Jumbeaux’s Sweets, inspired by the delightful ice cream parlor from Disney’s “Zootopia.”

Named after the lioness matriarch from “The Lion King,” Sarabi is a central hub for daytime activities and exclusive evening entertainment for adults. The Disney Treasure, the sister ship to the Disney Wish that launched in 2022, will embark on its maiden voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida, on Dec. 21, 2024, followed by an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral. Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Treasure cruise as early as Sept. 12, 2023, and bookings will open to all guests on Sept. 20, 2023.
