A 12-year-old Boy Scout has gone missing in Doughton Park. Emergency services have been alerted and are currently engaged in a search operation.
The boy was reported missing around 3 p.m. on Saturday. In an effort to locate him, a North Carolina Highway Patrol helicopter has been deployed. It is crucial to find the boy quickly, as temperatures are expected to plummet into the 20s overnight.
