Authorities in Walla Walla County are urgently seeking information on the whereabouts of two young children and their father. The 2-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl were last seen in Waitsburg on Sunday afternoon. The father, John Baugher, is believed to be struggling with mental health issues, which may put the children in danger.
The authorities have discovered that the family’s vehicle, a 1978 brown Volkswagen van with license plate 349 NRK, was found unoccupied in Stevens County. Deputies are currently searching the surrounding areas in hopes of locating the missing trio.
The young girl, Remi Baugher, has blonde hair, and hazel eyes, and stands at 3 feet, 1 inch tall. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, with a yellow jacket over the top, blue jeans, and Strawberry Shortcake shoes.
Her brother, 2-year-old Lars Baugher, also has blonde hair, green eyes, and is 2 feet, 7 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a brown or green jacket, blue jeans, and black Converse shoes.
