With all of the issues being discovered with some plastic bottles, it is not surprising that glass bottles are making a comeback…HUGE!!
Last year I wrote an article about all of the bottles on the market that were BPA free. At that time Evenflo’s had increased production of their glass bottles by 1000%, hoping that they could keep up with the demand.
I have found quite a few companies that stock glass bottles.
Listed below are some of those bottles and where to get them.
*Note – If you see a bottle you like and it is in stock – order it! Many of these stores are having a tough time keeping these bottles in stock*
They only come in one size – 9oz. Each bottle is $9.99 at cheekymonkey.ca
Dr. Brown’s now features the same patented internal vent system that helps reduce feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping and gas in their glass bottles. Each bottle includes patented internal vent system and Level-One silicone nipple, plus a cleaning brush and instructions.
Their glass bottles are easy to clean and top-rack dishwasher safe. They connect directly to most breast pumps. Included is 2 high-grade Level-One silicone nipple, patented two-piece internal vents, travel disks, caps, cleaning brush, and instructions.
Evenflo Classic Glass Nurser – These classic bottles have nipples that are made of soft, flexible latex and have micro-vents that allow even flow of liquid, prevent nipple collapse. Each pack includes 3 bottles and 3 slow-flow nipples.
WeeGo Glass Bottle – Babylife is reintroducing glass baby bottles, but with a new design and safety twist: the bottle is covered with a modern sleeve that will help protect the bottle from breakage and also prevent bumping into other articles in your diaper bag. This sleeve is free of plastics and is 100% non-toxic.
The bottle and the sleeve can be boiled or put in the dishwasher together. The silicone nipple should be hand-washed and is also latex-free and non-toxic. The plastic ring, plug and cap contain no polycarbonates and are food grade, FDA approved and recyclable. The sleeve provides a good gripping surface during feeding and also a great tactile experience for your baby.
Each bottle is $18
All bottles come with food-grade silicone nipples that are latex-free, allergen-free and free of nitrosamines. Bottles are packaged using shrink wrap.
Included in each box: 3 bottles, 3 silicone nipples, 3 rings and cap. Priced at $10.99/3 – 8oz bottles at naturepure.com
