Surveillance footage captured a distressing incident in an El Salvador hospital where a woman disguised as a nurse allegedly snatched a newborn before making a daring escape. The imposter, dressed in scrubs, convinced the baby’s mother that she was taking the child for immunization.
In the hallway, the suspect placed the swaddled baby in her backpack and calmly walked toward the hospital exit.
After an extensive search, the baby was found unharmed two hours later. Specialist doctors are examining the infant to ensure no injuries occurred.

Authorities have arrested a man and woman pretending to be the baby’s parents. The woman posing as a nurse is still on the run. Law enforcement is actively searching for her and any other accomplices.
