Last night The Costume Institute at Metropolitan Museum held their yearly Gala in New York City. Inspired by an exhibition that will run from May 9 through August 14, 2013 at the MET, the theme was PUNK: Chaos to Couture. While the exhibit will examine punk’s impact on high fashion from the movement’s birth in the 1970s through its continuing influence today, celebrities took the theme and ran ~ some in the wrong direction.
