Taking the kids out of school to travel is always something I stand behind because they will always learn more from what they see than what they hear about. In October my son accompanied me on a work trip to the Big Apple and one of the things I was excited to do with him was show him some of the city’s incredible museums. Our family has been lucky to stay at a few resorts on the island, but in September we spent 4 days at Beaches – the island’s crown jewel.
In a report published December 21 in the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Pierre-Emmanuel Bouet highlights a case unlike anything he has seen in his years as an OB/GYN at Angers University Hospital in France. Indeed, the condition is so rare that there have only been 26 cases ever reported.
